Tokyo Yamathon is proud to officially announce the Tochigi Conservation Corps as one of our 2026 NPO partners.
As an organization dedicated to environmental conservation, youth engagement, and sustainable community development, the Tochigi Conservation Corps has spent years creating meaningful impact through hands-on environmental action across Japan. Their mission strongly aligns with the values at the heart of Tokyo Yamathon: community, connection, sustainability, and creating positive change through collective effort.

The Tochigi Conservation Corps works to protect and restore natural environments while also empowering young people through volunteerism, environmental education, and long-term conservation initiatives. Their programs encourage participants to actively engage with local communities and contribute to preserving forests, satoyama landscapes, and green spaces for future generations.
Their organization operates environmental volunteer and conservation programs that bring together individuals from different backgrounds to participate in hands-on activities including forest maintenance, bamboo grove restoration, environmental education initiatives, and rural revitalization projects. These experiences not only help protect Japan’s natural environment but also foster leadership, teamwork, and deeper community engagement among participants.

At Tokyo Yamathon, we believe that community events can serve a greater purpose beyond the event day itself. Every year, we partner with nonprofit organizations whose missions contribute to stronger, healthier, and more connected communities both locally and globally. Through this partnership, we hope to help raise awareness of the important environmental work being carried out by the Tochigi Conservation Corps and support their continued efforts throughout 2026.
Environmental sustainability and community involvement have become increasingly important topics around the world, and organizations like the Tochigi Conservation Corps demonstrate how local action can create long-term impact. By engaging volunteers directly in conservation activities and encouraging meaningful participation, they are helping build a stronger culture of environmental responsibility and civic engagement in Japan.
We are especially excited to collaborate with an organization that not only focuses on environmental protection, but also invests in developing the next generation of changemakers. Their programs encourage young people to take an active role in solving social and environmental challenges through practical experience, teamwork, and
community-based learning.

As we prepare for the 2026 Tokyo Yamathon season, we look forward to sharing more about the Tochigi Conservation Corps, their ongoing initiatives, volunteer opportunities, and the impact this partnership will help create.
By participating in Tokyo Yamathon, our community helps support organizations working hard to make a lasting difference through environmental stewardship, volunteerism, and local action.

We are honored to welcome back Tochigi Conservation Corps to the Tokyo Yamathon family and look forward to an inspiring year ahead together.
