The Tokyo Yamathon 2024 was nothing short of spectacular! On a bright and energetic morning, hundreds of participants gathered in Marunouchi, ready to embark on the ultimate urban endurance challenge—completing a full loop around the Yamanote Line by foot, all while raising funds for an incredible cause. 2024年の東京ヤマソンは、まさに壮観でした！明るくエネルギッシュな朝、何百人もの参加者が丸の内に集まり、素晴らしい目的のために資金を募りながら、山手線を一周歩いて完走するという究極の都市耐久チャレンジに挑みました。

A Day of Teamwork & Determination

This year, over 250 teams participated, making it one of the largest Yamathon events to date. From seasoned walkers to first-time participants, each team brought their energy and determination, turning the streets of Tokyo into a vibrant sea of Yamathon spirit.

With 30 stations to visit, teams strategized the best routes, snapped memorable photos, and cheered each other on along the way. Some completed the journey in record time, while others took a more scenic approach, soaking in the culture and beauty of Tokyo’s famous landmarks.

今年は250を超えるチームが参加し、これまでで最大規模のヤマソンイベントとなりました。経験豊富なウォーカーから初参加者まで、各チームはエネルギーと決意を持ち寄り、東京の街をヤマソンスピリットに満ちた活気ある海に変えました。

30のステーションを訪れる中で、チームは最適なルートを戦略的に選び、思い出に残る写真を撮り合い、道中でお互いを応援しました。中には記録的な速さでゴールを目指したチームもあれば、東京の名所を堪能しながら、風景を楽しむゆっくりとしたアプローチを取ったチームもありました。

A Race with a Purpose

What made Tokyo Yamathon 2024 especially impactful was its charitable element. Teams weren’t just racing for themselves—they were racing for a cause. This year’s event raised a record-breaking amount for Waffle, Tochigi Conservation Corps, and the Japan Children's Hospice Association—three incredible organizations dedicated to education, sustainability, and community development across Tokyo and beyond. Each step participants took was more than just a physical challenge; it was a step toward making a positive impact on the lives of others.
