Unveiling the 2025 Yamathon Volunteer Crew T-Shirt

Tokyo Tradition Meets Volunteer Spirit

If you’ve ever collected a station stamp on the Yamanote line, you know there’s something special about marking your journey across Tokyo. For 2025, we’re bringing that magic front and center—introducing our brand-new Volunteer Crew T-shirt, inspired by the stamp rally tradition that makes Tokyo, well… Tokyo!

Designed by Volunteers, For Volunteers

This year’s shirt isn’t just another event tee—it’s a local legend in the making. The entire concept and design come from our own venue operations lead, Jessica McDonald. Jessica took inspiration from the unique stamp stations dotted along the Yamanote line, channeling the spirit of exploration and community into a bold new look.

And she didn’t just brainstorm the idea—Jessica rolled up her sleeves and crafted the artwork herself. Proof that our volunteers don’t just make

Yamathon possible—they make it

look good, too.

What Makes It Special?

  • Front: Features the stamp-inspired badge, iconic Tokyo landmarks, and a dynamic illustration capturing the energy of the city.

  • Back: Proudly displays the logos of our event partners and NPO partners—because teamwork is the name of the game.

The stamp motif is a playful wink to Tokyo’s adventurous side—a symbol of curiosity, discovery, and the journey each participant undertakes. And while our volunteers aren’t out there walking the full 40km, they’re the heart and soul of Yamathon day: supporting, guiding, and cheering every walker from start to finish.

A Walking Billboard for Team Spirit

Come event day, you’ll spot our volunteers in these shirts from across the crowd—always ready with a high five, a word of encouragement, or some expert Tokyo directions. These shirts aren’t just uniforms—they’re badges of honor, worn by the folks who keep the Yamathon moving forward (sometimes literally).

Want In? Join the Crew!

Think you’d look good in this shirt? Ready to be part of something bigger? We’re still welcoming volunteers for the 2025 Tokyo Yamathon.

Sign up now and claim your spot (and your shirt) in the ultimate urban adventure.

Big thanks to Jessica for the creativity, to our event partners for their support, and to every volunteer who steps up to make this event unforgettable. Stamp your mark on Tokyo with us. See you at the starting line!
